Hi quick question, if I changed the steering wheel to say a cMax, you have to get the sensor aligned, but if swopping out for a transit sport steering wheel, or just a new standard wheel, do you still have to align it?
Thanks
You can definitely calibrate steering angle with forscanloot wrote:+1
It's a service function, calibrate steering angle sensor. There is also calibrate the longitudinal yaw sensor which is for abs/esp.
But if you look at the steering wheel you'll see 2 holes and those are on either side of the centre of the wheel and on 1 set they are like 10 to 2 position and the other set they aye quarter to 3 position maybe not evaluate but you see what I mean. This is why they don't always fit. You could I guess drill 2 holes that are the same on the transit wheel. But that seems over kill.
Hey mr knobby do you know if you can do these tasks in forscan?
