Mk7 rear compartment interiour lights

Does anybody know if the rear interiour lights are on a timmer? ie: if the side/rear doors are left open do they eventualy go out, the only chance ive had with my van is to leave these doors open for 20 minutes and they where still on, only reason i am asking is i am thinking of going to spain with mine next year and if the nights are hot i could leave the doors open

I think they must be because mine stay on for about 15-20 mins when you leave the doors open and then go off.

havn't timed them but mine do go out

My mk6 went out after an hour,the strio alsow turned it self off at an hour aswell

Thanks guys, when i get the chance will have to leave the doors open and se what sort of time they go out. Im just wondering if its possible to hook it up and reset the delay time to say 10 minutes ??????
