Hi mate its always made the tapping. I got the van already running just tapping, put a new chain kit an cam carrier on the van new Injector seals egr oil.cooler ect it starts stright up pulls fine no smoke no oil burning its just the tapping. But the cams do look worn where the old cam carrier was like score marks. And one of the cam lobes where the old carrier smashed looks damaged where it was hitting the cam carrier. Maybe its spun the lobe slightly so that's where the tapping is coming from?? I've seen you've said its not good to unplug the injectors but I'm afraid I've already done that. But no change in sound at all from any cylinder when they was unplugged one by one. Il.get the rocker cover of this weekend an take photos of the damage an post them on hear. Cheers

It is not recommended to unplug the injectors when running as it can blow the pcm

Any ideas mate ?
