I also live on a main bus route with chancers ( false plates) slowly driving through, My driveway has a 2ft wall up the side, so I park with the drivers door 2 inches from the wall. that way as the only key hole is on the drivers door, hopefully that will deter them from trying the tibbe key method. As I am disabled I never use the drivers door,. just the remote to open the rear side passenger door that has an automatic step for ease of my access. They could of course break the window to get in but hopefully the hassle will put them off.

I have a camper van. I use a steering lock also. I have a obd lock & a pedal lock. When travelling i exit through the rear side door as I use 12mm stainless steel bar through the 'B' pillar in to the door pillar each side, which prevents any type of opening .
The rear doors have shoot bolts internally top & bottom along with external dead locks. The side door has external deadlocks + stainless steel over the outer lock position & always dead locked. It has an alarm + 2 x trackers. I have yet to fit a battery isolation switch.

Yeah that’s why it was so cheap to insure a Sierra Cosworth.
