Rear bumper protector?

Postby chriszuki » Fri Oct 19, 2007 9:28 pm

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a rear cover plate which would go over the rear bumper?

Yes, it shows every little mark and looks scruffy already! I thought an aluminium tread plate would look better and help protect from it getting marked.

I was going to buy some aluminium sheet from B&Q & make one but they want over £50 for a sheet approx 2'x3' . So i'll either have to find a cheaper source or see if anyone makes them for a reasonable price.

Look for a local sheet metal workers, there's a decent place in Inverness that I always go to. Give them the sizes and they'll cut some chq. plate down to size for you
