replacing a/c compressor

Hi.

I have -08 mk7 T350 rwd, and need to replace the a/c compressor.
Is it possible to detach and attach the pipes without removing water- and vacuum pumps above the compressor.
It seems that there isnt too much room to work with it..

It is 2.4tdci if that makes a difference..

When I remove my mk 6 tdci rwd to fit new pipes I just unbolted the compressor off the block never removed any of the water system I may have removed the turbo pipe to give a bit more room
