mk7 2.2 tdci 2010 cruise control light

Hi everybody.
We seem to have the engine problem solved in a previous post. Now we want to solve the smaller items.
This week the cruisecontrol light in the speedometer stopped working, both at start-up and when I set the cc to on.
the cc is actually working fine, but the light is off.
Would you expect a bad contact in the connector of the cluster or do the lights fail (70k)
anyone had a similar experience or advise?

I'd think it was a bulb out?

Not sure what it was, but it came back on by itself
