Abs not fitted or inoperative.

This was one of the failures on my mot. What will be causing this, a faulty sensor? Mk6 transit 2.4. Thanks.

Did your vehicle have it fitted from build?
It shouldn't be a failure if it never had it. It will be a failure if it came fitted from build.

Does it have an ABS pump/module in the engine bay..?? Follow brake lines from master cyl and see if they go into an aluminium block with several other lines.

ABS not fitted is not an MOT failure...
In fact the testing manual says you are allowed to remove it (as long as all parts of the ABS system are removed)

he says its a 2002 year
carnt see it ever having it my van is 2001 and doesnt have abs

If it doesn't have ABS, won't it have a LAV in the rear hydraulic pipework

Ive checked the etis.ford website and there is no mention of ABS on my van. Thanks

what was the actual fail on the failer sheet
post a picture of the faliure sheet
then i can look at the mot inspection manuel for you
