Oil Leak from large pipe at front of engine

Hi everyone I have had my 57 plate Transit for around a month and I love it !. I got it from a local dealer who showed me the paperwork for a Ivor Searle remanufactured engine and a brand new Turbo and runs sweetly and starts on the button.
only 2 issues I need help with please ?

1. There is a oil leak around the large diameter pipe at the front of the engine can anyone tell me what this plastic unit is please ? and is it missing a O ring ?, Also the bolt top right is missing

2. Black smoke under heavy acceleration
