Air intake engine connection mk7 2.4

Postby damod11 » Fri Oct 22, 2021 1:54 pm

Hi. Im going to try cleaning the EGR by spraying (holts) into the engine air intake mk7 2.4, problem is there's so many pipes I dont know which one to unclip. Can someone please direct me ? Removing and cleaning/replacing the EGR will be done if the spray doesn't work.
Also I want to clean the MAP sensor but im not sure of its location. Ive already removed and cleaned the MAF sensor. Any other pointers would be great. thanks.

MAP sensor is in the silver pipe just before the inlet manifold , the sensor is black with a wiring connector on the rear side

If you don't know where the inlet manifold is...best you find some who knows what they're looking at. MAP sensor is very delicate and can be damaged easily.

Maybe someone else can help ? It would be appreciated. After all this is why this fourm exists.

Take the egr off and clean it, far move effective than some spray into the inlet manifold especially as the egr is some distance from said manifold.

mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small
