That’s lucky that only 2 are wrong, I think that’s what you press, I’m not too clued up on these new fangled mk7’s yet, it’s been a few years since I coded injectors on my old mk6.

Yep, Forscan doesn't use the "firing order"...it just uses #1,2,3,4 front to rear on a RWD and left to right as you look at the engine on a FWD.....pretty simple to do.... and I still think Forscan is a terific resource considering it's free to download.

Once the injectors are coded, a set of learns is required to set them up nicely.

That’s pretty simple then, mucho easier than the stupid Delphi coding which made absolutely no sense  I like forscan, even with my WiFi elm but I do need to purchase a switchable one, the only problem I have with it is I forget how to run the tests

Do the learns...it'll be much better, smoother etc...it's basically mandatory after changing, fitting and coding injectors.

Haven't dome the learning yet but same problem as before - almost complete loss of power after 10 miles. Should be ok to get back when engine cools back down.

Not the MAF as just tried new one to no avail.

MAF and MAP sensors rarely fail....far too many of them are replaced for no reason....if you get MAF & MAP fault codes, it usually the EGR valve causing it.

Well i just made it back home lol. Revs were struggling with peddle right down (4000 then down to bouncing around 2000) and some black smoke from exhaust.

There's also still a bit of oil leaking from somewhere,

Have you not replaced the EGR valve..??

You'll need to sort that oil leak, it's all over your starter and could contaminate your clutch.

I've never had to rev my engine to 4000 rpm, actually it rarely sees 3000 rpm if I'm honest. Maximum torque is between ~1600-2200rpm. Max hp is ~3500rpm....don't know why you'd need to be up to or over 4000.

Well i was just testing, def struggling once engine gets too hot (had to floor it get emissions below 0.30 or whatever it was to pass recent MOT but was ok then).

No haven't done EGR Valve, sounds like a plan

PCM fault codes are:

P2125:36-28 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch E Circuit
P037D:29-2F - Glow Plug Sense Circuit
P1409:77-28 - EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Circuit
P068A:00-28 - ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized - Too Early

Throttle pedal looks unwell....might explain the struggling revs with the pedal all the way down.

or £40-80 DIY
