Yep...probably EGR cooler. You can isolate it to see if it is the culprit. Just connect the two hoses together using a suitable piece of pipe.

Does the exhaust smell sweet..??

No need to blank the EGR valve, no coolant goes through the valve itself, just through it's body if it's water cooled.

Is it smoke or steam?? Could be left over coolant still in the exhaust system, needs a long drive to burn it off.

Did you do the learns after fitting the new SCV and rail pressure sensor..??...(although the rail pressure sensors very rarely, if ever fail).

Were they genuine Denso or Ford items..??

Have only changed rail pressure valve up to now
.guy in garage done it . Don't know if genuine part have ordered rail sensor which is sensor. Haven't ordered pump metering presure sensor but will get genuine part s . Do they all need coded !?

I assume the pump metering pressure sensor you speak of is the SCV..?? It's not a sensor, it's a variable voltage solenoid fuel metering valve and determines the rail pressure and amount of fuel flow. Rail pressure sensor in the end of the rail doesn't need coding, the SCV and PRV will need the learns done after fitting, PRV will also need it's counters/timers reset. Once the new valves are fitted, the pump, pilot and injectors learns must be done.
