So, it's sitting there with a battery charger in close proximity, and you forget to charge them up :?:

Aux contraire mr Al it has been on charge several times but cranking out has taken both batteries down. I have a big charger with start feature but. Not a big Clarke type. I can't charge both batteries at once. It's been on all night now to which i tend not to do, i turn off the main breaker to the garage usually. :P

It has slow and fast, it is start and charge but having 2x12v batteries on the Van makes it hard. I charged the rear battery overnight and then put the start on the front battery, last night it was turning over fast but farting.

Today i checked with ids and it kept coming up with frp sensor short to ground,i for it running but decided that I'd swap the complete rail over with mine. It has started etc so i fitted the rad but the o ring on the water pipe that comes out of the timing cover, it ran up a bit though so I'm happy.

It looks like lemony snicketts chain of unfortunate events part 2.
So my guess is that the frp sensor failed and they tried bumping it which ruined the tensioner and broke a rocker at which point the mechanic chuffed no bueno and i was drafted in.

My little Moto is that ppl being their dead cars to me :?

And they lie to me and give me a boobytrapped car. Then tell me there's nothing won't really. So i then have to poirot the f*** out of it just to find out, meanwhile they want a price for the job before i look at it and immediately after their little story .

Which deserves a double

In other news i debated visiting my local scrappy that do transit but no longer let you in and look at me like I'm a cnut wasting their time, the last 3 visits saw me leave empty handed, good business there chaps
But i called my local quicko and they sold me the o ring, new fuel filter, new oil filter, 4 green leak off o rings and delivered 50 gbp 8)

Test run without correct injectors.

Have now changed the rocker cradle, fuel rail, fitted new timing cover and all back together, just waiting on some bits on Monday, will do the learns etc then but it is more or less done.

I checked the torque of the cam carrier bolts and all were tight,a visual showed no obvious damage so hopefully for array with it .

Welcome to the world of serving the general public, who will lie through their teeth in order to get something cheaper, or even for nothing

Put everything back together, new o ring on the water pipe, 4 green o rings, oil filter, oil, fuel filter etc, oil all over the place and water too.

Broke the thermostat housing ffs, 20 quid on eBay, but Friday seems the soonest. Ford most likely very expensive.

But the Van is running sweet as a nut I'm not even going to do the learns.

But I've been doing a quick polish, there's plenty of rust scabs etc

 indeed, but thanks for the nice sentiment 8)

I'll call wicks tomorrow for a laugh, worth a try. But 20 from eBay seems fair just being impatient although my procrastination might cause more waiting, should i order 1 right now? Hmm

Felt physically sick, I did loads to the van, fixed engine, quick polish over, but of white paint on some rusty bits, fixed radio, deleted brake pad warning etc etc. Took it for a drive and it was sweet, got to the street leading upto the guys house and it started rattling and boom. It is hitting something on the rotation. Had to call him, take me home, come back with tools to remove the rail sensor, took me home to fit the rail sensor to my van which had stood 2 Weeks, thankfully it started up etc, took the A frame and luckily it all held up taking the van back which is sat in the Lair and back to square 1. It is locking up on manual crank. So it seems at a guess the timing has slipped again. Her combo needs attention too and the washing machine packed up, my rope snapped too

Could have been worse. If the rope was too long you would have just hit the floor
