Front Hub Nut Size

is it 36mm?

got a broken spring and the pinch bolt on the hub that holds the shock is rounded so have to remove the whole fecking thing including the hub

so 36mm?

Well I used my damaged bolt removal set and it worked initially, pinch bolt has no snapped ffs

Yes 36mm.

I used unwin stud extractors when I did the springs on my old van as one nut was rounded.

Strut top nuts are 10mm and a pain in the arse to get to.

this bottom ball joint isn't moving, used my ball joint separator and its not budging

im actually close at the point of cutting the wishbone just to get the git off!

how does everyone else get these things out?

Try jacking it up, bottle jack or trolley jack on the threaded part, it’s worked for me in the past, failing that a bit of heat on the wish bone should do it.

hi, tried jacking it up and still not moving, i'll try some heat tomorrow but its only a little blow torch so dont hold out much hope,

if the heat doesnt work i can honestly see me cutting the old wishbone and buying a new1 and having another 'mare with that!

all this for a busted spring ffs!

I use my weed burner, took awhile but worked in the end, you could pop the ball joint out of the hub/knuckle instead.

removing the circlip and knocking it down out the hub? tried that aswell and cant get it done, its a 11 plate and im sure they are all original parts
