Mk7 2.4 100ps cutting out during injector learn. Please help

Hi All. I'm desperately hoping someone can shed some light on this for me please.

My mk7 2.4 will not complete an injector learn. When it gets to pressure point 1 the 2nd time the engine cuts out then it obviously fails.

All injectors have been reconditioned and I have checked leak back on them to make sure and they are all dead level.

I know have the cog light on the dash with an error code for injector learning not done.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

When your injectors were reconditioned, did they supply your with revised "correction factor" codes..?? If so did you code them into the system prior to attempting the learns..?? What leakback measurements did you get. Limits are 25-40ml each @ idle for 4 mins.

Check your fuel filter for air.

If there is air in it you have an air leak in the leakoff pipework, possibly your split an injector leakoff o-ring when refitting the pipework as the o-rings are very soft and easily cut.

I didn't get new correction factors. In all honesty I didn't measure the diesel on the leak off. There just wasnt very much and they were all exactly the same.

When it cuts out it will restart instantly, or I can hit the throttle as I know when it's going to stall and stop it. This then just kills the operation as I have touched the throttle.

If you didn't get new correction factor codes...what codes did you use for the learns..?? If the codes aren't correct for the fitted injectors, it will never pass the learns successfully and will never run properly.

Were the SCV and PRV also replaced..?? If so, were the PRV open/duration counters reset..?? Were they genuine Ford/Denso items..??

The scanner hasn't asked for new correction codes. I have replaced the valves with known working used ones and counters reset.

The software doesn't ask for them, it's not that smart...you "need" to put them into the system yourself....if not you're wasting your time.
