.. bought a set of removal tools to take this out, but it will not budge..! Any ideas, anyone..? Thanks.

carefully wiggle each key whilst pulling firmly but gently it should come out if you have the keys the correct way round but the head units are quite stiff to remove
is that rust spot new?
