All 3 spacers are on now that VNT Turbo ring and shes running ok - i mean actually properly driveable with no oil leaks...still whistling though when foot on gas and will start smoking white, badly, if over revved after a few miles then throws engine malfunction light (EGR p0404's mainly coming up). But if i then leave it with ignition off for 5 minutes its all ok again. Couple of things;

- the exhaust to Turbo gaskett is missing
- havent done oil/filter change except topping up with 2.5 litres

Also maybe i should do a pump and pilot learn?

Thanks for listening

Whistling might be a split boost pipe between the turbo - intercooler- inlet.

If the old turbo passed oil then it’ll smoke for a few days until all the oil in the exhaust is burnt off, when I did mine in 2020 I smoked the streets out for a few days.

MOT failed on a few easy to fix things so thats ok.

Noise is that leak in the Cat (advisory) so yeh need to put new one in. Its screwed on but fixings are pretty shot so best to cut here then weld new one in?:

That’s what I did, remove exhaust from the van, cut as close to the flexi as possible and welded a new one in, you can get new flexi that clamp on.

That's a DPF, your 2007 machine won't have one. Just a cat & pipe will be much cheaper.

Our Ned is correct, it will fit. Your old exhaust is not correct.

I do have the manual chain tool to cut the pipe but access to the front part looks pretty tricky without removing the whole section
