Power train symbol cam sensor DTC rpm max' 3100

Recon eng fitted.
Cam sensor from previous eng on which there was not a DTC for the cam sensor nor a power train warning symbol on the consul.

Eng' does not rev above 3100, eng lacks power at over 1000 rpm under load eg 3rd gear going up hill. Vehicle needs to go into 1st gear to get up a hill.

Power train warning symbol on consul.
Cam sensor DTC.

If the timing of the inlet camshaft was incorrect - out by 1/16 ( say 2 degrees of the cam wheel) of a tooth or more could that result in a cam sensor DTC? No power when on load?

Is the DTC limited to electrical/electronic faults? If the mechanical timing was out could that show as a DTC?

Considering that the cam sensor and crankshaft sensor are used by the PCM together.
If the cam sensor was out could that show as a DTC?

Can the power train warning symbol cause the immobiliser to reduce eng' rpm/power?
Can the cam sensor DTC cause the immobiliser to reduce eng' rpm/power?

Was DRRB 74 KW 100 HP 100 cv. Now CYR5 125 HP. PCM could still be for 100 HP.
There's more letters after a Transit than a military man
