Is this a SMF or DMF

Postby aarronman » Sun Sep 25, 2022 3:15 pm

Hi there. I have a 202 rwd 2013 mk7 transit.

I've taken the clutch off and was wondering if these images would tell you experts if my flywheel is dual mass or single mass.

Secondly would you guys replace this while you were here? It wasn't making any funny noises or anything

Thanks in advance

There's lot of vids on youtube re' S and D mass flywheels.
It looks very much like the one on my van which is DMF.

There are several ways to get the flywheel off.

Was DRRB 74 KW 100 HP 100 cv. Now CYR5 125 HP. PCM could still be for 100 HP.
There's more letters after a Transit than a military man
