Replacing front doors seals

Hello all. Any tips for changing the front door seals in a MK7 transit. I have the new seals and have removed the old one. Struggling to get it past the bit where it goes behind the dash. I have removed the vent and cup holder but it still a struggle?

I did the right-hand seal a few months back.
All was fine but just where the right-hand cup holder was a pain. I loosened the bit of panel there and it took a while but I managed to get the seal in.

Done my drivers side seal a few months back, took all trims off along the A pillar and along that side of the dash. Took the too tray out aswell and search for bolts under there, basically remove all you can and loosen any bolts you find. I still had to resort to a big flat trim tool (like a bolster chisel) to get it to squeeze behind though.
