MK7 media stalk - anyone had a fault with theirs?

Postby snowjoe » Sat Oct 19, 2024 10:00 am

Our media stalk won't work, doesnt change track or volume etc. It did in our old van.
I bought a replacement (used but working), no change. I now took one from a friend's van (known working) and tried that, no change.

Just wonder if anyone knows what to try next?
thanks

The media stalk has only 2 wires and they go directly to the facra connector the block on the radio. There's either a bad connection between the stalk and the radio or the pins have been removed and put back wrong or there's corrosion/problem with the radio.
