New problem. Looking for advice.

New problem. Looking for advice.
Transit minibus Mrk 7 2009

Van is driving fine.
I stop & remove key from ignition.

A few moments later.

Put key in ignition.
All dash lights are working correctly.
Turn key & all dash lights go dim.
Engine turns over but will not start.

Remove key.

Wait 5 minutes
Try again & everything works perfectly.

Any idea guys ?

Merry Christmas & thanks for any advice in advance.

Ignition switch behind the barrel, cheap to replace and easy to change, common for causing weird electrical problems, but could be bad relay or bad earth connection at a relay etc but I'd be trying switch first

Have a double battery underneath the drivers seat on my minibus. Had a good look this morning & all 4 main connections to the batteries looks ok. Have ordered a new switch. Will update once fitter. Cheers

Are the batteries themselves ok..?? Have you load tested them..?? Front one usually fails first and causes all sorts of electrical gremlins.
