Yaw sensor issues

Postby PizzaVan » Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:33 pm

Hello

Trying to find some help. I have 2007 Mk7 2.2 rwd 81kw transit. I had the ESP and ABS light on on the dashboard. I managed to change the abs punmp - the abs light went away. The esp light stayed on. The forscan said that incorrect component installed C0063:4A-2B and C0063:08-2B Bus Signal/message failures.

Then bought new yaw sensor from brakers yard. Still the same errors. I did log the live data and yaw rate sensor shows movements. I tried to recalibrate yaw sensor, but it says conditions not met. What I am doing wrong?

I will put some pictures also to help to understand the problem.

How to make this to work and get the light to shut off?

Please help.... :)

Is your steering wheel pointing straight ahead..?

Have you had any work done on the brakes recently..?? Are "all" tyres the same size..??

I changed the abs pump because old unit did not work and fault code was "short circuit or open", so no communication at all. Yes, the new sensor is from brakers yard.

Steering wheel is straight, tires same size, but bought in different years. I have changed the brake fluid.

Could someone please tell me where the yaw rate sensor wires are going. I am crazy finding this from cardiagn wiring diagrams. There is only yaw rate sensor plugs, nothing more or i am blinded.

..On reading various about the net, it did say it has to be bolted into postilion when calibrating ...so cant be just plugged in and left loose and van must be on a level surface.
