Which fuel filter? (2005 MK6 2.0 DI 100PS)

Hi,
Below is an image of the current fuel filter on my van, which has what looks like the manufacture date on it (10.01.2021) so I thought it would be a good idea to replace it.

The current fuel filter is a crosland F30230.
From looking at the part numbers listed on catcar.info and finding images of the actual filters the top of the filter looks the same as Ford part number 1712985.
One of the images I found of the crosland filter also had the original box which stated that it was compatible with Ford part 4537951 - these don't seem to be commonly available (possibly superseded by another part number).
On the transitcenter.uk website Ford part 1712985 is listed as the same as Ford part 4537951.
From this I believe that Ford part 1712985 is the filter that I need.
Before I order the filter I would be grateful if someone could confirm if this is the correct filter for my van.

1712985 is the correct 5 micron filter for your engine..

Hi,
There are several different original filters that "says Di on it", as far as I know the one you posted a link to (1709059) isn't the correct one for my vehicle.
I'll post a message if the one I've ordered fits OK or not (1712985) - which also "says Di on it".

Hi,
I filled the new filter (1712985) with diesel and fitted it today, it was a bit fiddly getting it aligned so that it would push in and lock but got it aligned and fitted after about five minutes.
To make sure it was OK I ran the engine for a few minutes with the new filter and it ran without any problems.
