Side door electrical connection

Can anyone give me guidance on testing the electrical connection on the side loading door. Started not locking and unlocking today, and a beep when trying to lock the van. The pins seem to be inline and the pegs on the door are still springing in and out. The pegs on the door are secured with torx screws but the receiver on the van has rivets. Looking for the best way to test the connection.
