Front Ford Parking Aid/Sensor wiring MK6 transit

Hi,
I'm trying to add front Parking Aid sensors to my MK6 2.0DI 100PS 2005 transit van and it has a connector for plugging in the the Ford Parking Aid module and sounder under the facia on the left side of the vehicle, I'm struggling to find where the wires for the sensors go after disappearing through the firewall.
I have the module/sounder and the parking sensors, I just need to work out the wiring to connect them together.
I would be grateful if someone who has Ford front parking sensors could let me know where the connector is under the bonnet for plugging in the parking sensor loom that I presume I'll have to make up to connect the parking sensors.
I could also do with knowing where on the bumper I need to drill the holes as even though I can find reference to original front bumpers with holes for parking sensors I haven't found any photos.
A wiring diagram showing the wire colours and connectors between the parking aid module and the sensors would also help me to locate the wires under the bonnet.
Any help on the wiring would be appreciated as it will save me from having to remove the tape from around the wiring loom under the bonnet and trace them manually.

If the van wasn't delivered from the factory with the sensors, it may not have the required looms installed.

Hi,
The van seems to have the part of the loom in the cabin up to the firewall that goes to the front parking sensors.
It is possible that it had parking sensors that were removed as the front crossmember has a couple of large dents in it which must have severely damaged the bumper that was attached at the time.
So if the bumper and parking sensors with attached wiring were removed and replaced with a standard bumper and the parking module unplugged from the cabin it should be possible to reinstate them by remaking up the final part of the loom.
I just need to find where the plug is and make up a new cable or if someone knows the part number for that final section of loom I may be able to order one.

Hi,
Looking at the circuit board in the Parking Assist Module it appears that pins 10, 11 and 23 and 24 are where the sensors are connected on my YC1T-15T850-AC module and that although provision has been made on the circuit board for an additional 4 sensors on pins 12,13, 25 and 26 the components are missing so I presume a different version of the same module would have the facility of connecting front and rear parking sensors.
I don't know if this will assist anyone, but the wires for the sensors connected to the plug have these colours:
pin 10 is white/red
pin 11 is white
pin 23 is brown/blue
pin 24 is white/green
The wiring to the plug doesn't include wires to pins 12, 13, 25 and 26.
Assuming the wires are the same colour on each side of the plug/socket through the firewall under the bonnet those wires appear to go to a pair of connectors below the engine compartment fuse box along with some other wires.
The other side of the two connectors disappears backwards and under the van so are most likely the connections to the back of the van and the parking assist is currently wired to connect sensors to the rear bumper (although none are connected currently).
I'll have to see if I can find a connector at the back of the van for plugging in a parking sensor loom and possibly make a cable to run from that connector to the front.

Hi,
I'm hoping to use the parking aid module I have to setup front parking sensors, however as it looks like it is wired to be used with rear parking sensors will it only work when reverse is engaged (which obviously won't be much good) as I seem to recall comments about parking sensors and a reverse gear switch which needs to be engaged (although I cannot remember if it was in relation to MK6 or MK7 transit vans). If it won't work I suppose I can always put the parking sensors on the rear bumper.

This may or may not be helpful, but on my Focus, the front sensors only work after reverse has been engaged, so if I swing forwards on to my drive and up to a wall, they don't work, but if I reverse up and then move forward, the sensors start bleeping even though I'm in first gear now. There is also a switch on the dash to turn them on manually
