Postby DanMK7uk » Sun Aug 03, 2025 11:25 am

Hi guys,

Couple of codes showing on forscan as follows.

P068A:00-28 ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized Performance - Too Early

P0480:14-28 Fan 1 Control Circuit Additional Fault Symptom
- Circuit Short To Ground Or Open

Starter intermittent clicking.

Battery 6 months old and load tested all ok

Terminals clean and tight..

Any pointers would be great

Cheers

According to Google AI both fan and pcm could be caused by pcm relay or wiring.. pcm relay will be in the engine fuse box ... cant tell you what relay number is because you haven't stated year of van

if not any of those two , it says its the pcm at fault

but slowly learning about these transits .. i would look at the battery relay first .. the one that connects the two batteries together. that is because of your starter issues ..

but also here are loads of references to the ignition switch causing faults ..
as its all related to failure of power supply to pcm, and you've checked the earths and large positives, so could be any one of that lot, is my best guess .
