Replacing power steering pipes

The power steering on my Mk7 2.2 RWD 125 T 350 is leaking, it's confirmed as the pipes rather than the connection.

I'm going to replace both pipes, the parts are 1730625 (high pressure) and 1582833 (low pressure).

All the images I can find of the parts show them with o-rings on the connections, but the exploded diagram I have found has part numbers for the o-rings (and even a part number for both o-rings as a pack). Can anyone confirm whether the o-rings are included?

When I spoke to Arnold Clarke, they wouldn't give me part numbers, but said I would need the 2 pipes and single use nut (no mention of o-rings), but I can't find this single use nut on the exploded diagram. Anyone got a pointer/part number for this mystery nut?

Ford prices to the garage are apparently in the > £300 range
Arnold Clarke £267 - next day
shop.ford.uk £183 - not including the mystery nut or any specific o-ring, genuine parts, 3 day delivery
autocarpart.co.uk £118 - not including the mystery nut or any specific o-ring, aftermarket parts, next day delivery

Anyone used autocarpart? Would you risk aftermarket parts? Anywhere else you'd recommend going to instead?

But I can give you the search words note the minuses up against words to exclude them, and yeah i know it does not say 2.2 or mk7 - this search is the only way i could get items to come up without a load of bmw or not relevent stuff etc.

Search words:
transit seal steering -switch -hub -exhaust -gasket -bearing -bellow -bellows -rack -pump

This comes up in the results .. but no clue what model.

Putting the ford part number in from that listing - 1910482 into ebay
Gives you the seal sets ... but with lots of misinformation ... like for mk3 for mk4 etc on the top line but says mk7 within some of the descriptions.

Non genuine pipe sets are available as low as £36 for the pair on ebay - includes the nut.

And we had a discussion about this very thing a few weeks ago here. ... for mk8 but if it looks the same maybe it is the same - note the rust as possible failure area!

If its a straight bit of pipe just use a Plumbers compression fitting straight joint , just measure pipe 8mm or 10mm and spend £ 3 cut pipe in half at the hole, clean up the pipe edges fit joint , tighten up and your sorted, works a treat.
If for some reason you still want new pipe you'll need a genuine high pressure pipe or you'll have a nightmare trying to fit pipe into the nut fitting thats torqued into pump properly

Thanks for this, I finally found the part number for the nut last night - 6742740 - which does appear in the listing you posted.

My concern with eBay cheap parts is the longevity. I have seen posts on FaceAche with leak from the start to leaking within the year. The post you link to kind of backs this up with the groove for the o-ring being the wrong size.

Whether the aftermarket parts from auto car part would be any better I don't know, I can't find any reviews of the company, or anyone referencing them as a good source of parts.

So at the moment it looks like I'll have to make do with shop.ford.uk and a 3 or more day wait, or Arnold Clarke for next day at an extra cost of £60

And I still need to figure out whether the o-rings that you can find on the catcar.info exploded diagram are those already on the pipes or an extra set that sit inside the coupling point

Like i mentioned ( but not sure if you read it )the cheap ebay pipes can have problems fitting into the nut as in they don't and best to buy a Genuine ford high pressure pipe (just so you know the plumbers fitting pictured in previous post has saved many £££'s for people on here and it wasn't a joke but an easy and permanent fix and back on the road in minutes and not days/weeks)
