Pre sept 2011 I think they had an SCV which caused problems.

metalworker0 wrote:its very hard searching ebay ,, sellers are putting any old part numbers in that they think are right to get you to their item, they often copy listings off other sellers that are wrong.. you have to cross reference and double check things generally work it out on most results for a part number are right ,... because its returned the most results .. fathom it out from there . then roll the dice when you press buy
from the results of "8C1Q-9D280-AA" generally for these items stick with .. common respected names like DENSO which narrows it down a lot to 25 results.
i would be giving you the part numbers from cat car info .. but site has become a pain to use returning subpages that are:
temporary unavailable
not found
bad gateway
taking many attempts and 5 mins of tries, often, to get to a page

Micktransitman wrote:[Yeah I’ve been getting the same from cat car too, when I put that part number into pf jones it gives to two results one is (55PP05-01 Denso Pressure Sensor 8C1Q-9D280-AA) the other is (Denso High Pressure Rail Sensor 45PP3-1) and there different prices so I’m my thinking they must be different?
Thanks mark, Mick

Genuine pressure sensors never fail so you're best off leaving the original in situ.
OEM/genuine pressure sensors can only be bought with the complete rail....they're calibrated as one piece.

Thanks Lord Knobrot, so I placed and order for the prv and scv from pf jones and I just got a strange phone call saying, the genuine prv is out of stock, so I want there version or a refund? I thought it all was “there version” I’m worried now

Micktransitman wrote:Well the prv and scv arrived from pf jones, got them fitted and completed all the learns and still got air in the system but now she’s a pig to start…….i even bought a new set of genuine leak off pipes because I had doubts about the TPUK ones.
I’ll drop the tank down and I’m going to put the feed pipe in a can of diesel and see if I still get air bubbles, I know if I fill the filter up with fuel they stop so fingers crossed peoples
Thanks mick
