Mk7 RWD Flywheel locking tool - 3D printed

Postby rossco_pb » Tue Dec 09, 2025 1:51 am

Hey folks, I was in need of a flywheel locking tool for my Mk7 2.4L RWD engine that I am reassembling so decided to create and 3D print one. It is based off a BMW tool that had the same pitch so I just had to make it a lot bigger and printed it in PETG and no signs of cracking when using it. The stl file is on thingiverse for anyone who might like to make one ->> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7227850
