On a mk7 are FWD drive shafts all the same? Would the ones from a 5spd fit my 6spd van?

well here are the results and the only mention of 6 speed and 5 speed is the retainer clip

As Andz says..No..!! They're a different spline count.

The best boots for them are Borg & Beck off ebay
After cleaning out you put something like 120 grams of black molybdenum grease in the inner cups.
don't get any grease on the surfaces where the boots tie to.
