Alloy wheels query

I got a get of 16" tourneo alloy wheels can i put these on a lwb 15 seater minibus the tyres are smaller then.mine but.if I put my tyres on can.i run them on. My mk6 lwb?

Is the Tourneo still 5x160 PCD..?? If so, make sure they're load rated for the minibus...the Tourneo is a fair bit lighter than a fully loaded 15 seater.

Wheels need to be load rated too..!! But in general, they should be ok....best to check if going onto a minibus vehicle carrying up to 15 people.

Another thing to beware of .. sometimes the studs for steel wheels are too short for the alloys. they were on my connect. you end up with the nuts only holding them on with 4 threads!

Additionally, (whilst you're considering your options) you can't use your existing steel wheel nuts with alloy wheels, (alloys need a taper fit nut), and you cannot use the wheel nuts from Custom or Mk8 alloys on a Mk6, because the threads are different
