To the right of the engine underneath the red over it only charges the starter battery.

Ummm...if it's a Mk7....it will or should have one. Is it not right next to the engine bay fuse box....like the pic above from Altransit..??

Pull the cover off and put the + red jump lead on it and the black jump lead on the engine lifting eye if it has one or something solid on the engine sorry about last reply missed cover off it
