MK 7 Transit

Saw my first MK 7 today at my local stealers it was a metalic blue one. Had a peep in the window CD player ,elec windows, auto lights, 6 speed, 115ps t350 looked pretty good did not go in it as it was only 7am. has any one seen a better spec (Has any one seen one with leather seats )

Yes it is a fold over table, to which i might add is a poor design from a set up point of view.
Natural instinct tells you to grip it in the middle in order to flip it over, but that results in a trapped hand and a change of grip on it.

The clearence between the table and the screen is too close and it soon becomes annoying......but no one listens to me

The table is flanked by lift up flaps over storage areas too.

Did you notice the discs on the rear or the button to turn off the stability control system?

I did not notice the discs as it had full size wheel trims on so never thought of looking and no i did not see the button you mention. I will go back tomorow and have a proper look i think.

So the MK7 is 4wheel disc is it I didn't see that on the Ford Uk site spec sheet! have they changed the bloody stud pattern to something more reasonable??

Just been looking at the ford website they have the MK 7 Transit on there now. I am wondering has the MK7 140ps 375Nm engine replaced the MK6 137ps 375Nm or has it been renamed

waste of HP i think..

To justify that power in a van you will be pulling big weights and when you get big weights in the back of the can the front wheels will be picking up slightly thus reducing traction. our SWB 100 t280 does this to an extent!


I much prefer the idea of RWD commercials.

It's been one of those days today
