Quarter light door glass

Hi
is there a common problem with transit door quarter light (fixed) door window glass rubber seal? The wind down window is fine but the rubber seal doesnt seem to stay in place on the quarter light.

The later MK7 vans have a trim button at top of the rubber to hold it in place

i think you will find that is to stop you pulling the VENT GLASS out from the top another security flaw of the mk6.

(ITS NOT A QUARTER LIGHT PEOPLE!!!!)

ive seen a few vent glass rubbers come un-bonded from the glass so maybe yours is one of them.

My quarter light has nearly fallen out .I went to auto windscreens and the guy there said big problem on 07 transits . Today I've been back to main dealer who rang ford after guy in workshop also said its a common problem . Ford are sorting it out . There is hope .

We had the same problem with the nearside glass on our 07 plate

update for are not sorting it out , just fobbed me off with a free service
