any one know the weight of mk6 bonnet?

just looking for the weight of a mk6 bonnet and does anyone know if fibreglass can be used to replace the metal bonnet?

no but i can weigh you a mk4 one if you want 
i think you'd struggle to find a fibre glass one and it would be expensive to have one made
you could skin the mk6 bonnet to save a few KG's 
i think i saved 3kg....
9kg to 6kg just by skinning the boot of my mk2 escort 
of course my mk1 escort has a fibreglass boot
