juddery belt on my 330td

Postby JASP » Tue Jul 11, 2006 12:22 am

hi folks, any help would be hugely appreciated. I have a 2001 tranvan(330td) when on full lock the steering wheel judders! looked at the drive belt when ticking over and it seams to be juddering, a bit loose. when turned off the belt does'nt seam that loose, belts about 3months old. I'm a total tosspot when it comes to engines just praying its something simple! Any help and you'll be on my chistmas card list! Top site, with what seam to be, "Top People"

The system is under the highest load when your holding the wheel at full lock or when the wheel is against the kerb while you're trying to turn :D

Are you sure the belt has been correctly adjusted and a proper Ford one :?:

Is it an auto tensioning belt system :?: Could be the pump giving it's notice in   :(

What colour is the oil :?:
