Whats this Mercedes Sprinter you talk of, is this some kind of strange language you talk.
IMO mercs are nothing more than delivery vans, and crap ones at that. The interiors suck and they are overpriced.
Stick with your Transit mate.

merc = you pay ten times more for a badge
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

whilst the sprinter I had a while back was a nice enough drive, i felt it was a little underpowered for the LWB HR body (311 cdi - approx 100 horse) and the spec was miserly for the money that the company would have been paying for it (basic cassette unit, no c/l, no airbag etc.

Oh, I should also ,mention its voracious appetite for oil (having burnt near on 2 litres in 4,000 miles :?

noo noo noo there poo :D marquee co got a o5 brand new lwb h/r 311cdi so far the door lock s/l/d has fallen out at 250miles the rear door dont shut proper now has dents in it from all the slamming :? it drinks oil has even been back to merc to which they said no probs just the usual consumption  the bulkhead is the cheapist of cheap ply had a stillage of dance floor in the back one of the boys had to do a hard stop and it was pushed forward two inches even tho the stillage was already against the headboard so it didnt batter it!!! manager was worried about this as marquees are a lot of ally poles so its since had two bars welded in and new heavy ply fitted to that  if your in it all day the door pockets wont take a 2l drink bottle or even a blt(yummy) sandwich in just a normal size forget your three pack :lol:and a 2l bottle on the footstep is just outta reach :x and dont leave your house keys in the middle seat where the centre seatbelt clip is !!! if someone sits on them it can push them pas the flimsy bit of foam under the seat which is a metal box no entry except un bolt the seat at 2am its not even funny :evil:starting to get issues with the p.a.s pump too now too, no central locking !! security issue i think ,the brakes are pants we carry a anchor and chain to throw out  but it does go ok as theve got variable pitch turbos!! even tho a 100t280 with ladders whipped it up the slip road  and it isnt too bad on fuel :) they also have a 06 90t350 crewvan slower but solid and no issues with although abused by seven gimps  everyday and a o6 115t350 drw pickup overloaded every day and just asks for more no issues with either 8) the transit has central locking better cab area and generally feel better built how many mk1 sprinters do ya see compared to smileys :D phew rant over breath breath

How about being slapped around the head with a large fresh fish then? That should do the trick........ Get back to me for more suggestions if you need them.
