You only have to have one lock malfunctioning and the rest will not work in central locking mode.
They will try and immediately resume back to were they where..when the drivers door fails to register as unlocked .
So you have to fix the drivers door lock or make it function in such a way as to trick the van into thinking that the drivers door has unlocked (obviously its unlocking now only because its been forced, there must be something ..a sensor or switch in the door or pillar that tells the vans computer that its locked )...investigate what the other lock does on the passenger side and compare ..or repair the lock and damage to put it back the way it was.
i know as far as locking is concerned, you only have to have one lock failing for it to try to lock and immediately unlock,. this has happened on mine a few times ..due to sticking external plastic handles...and sticking internal handles. think after 18 years the whole lot of mine need lubing on the pivot points.
