Fuel gauge problem!

My fuel gauge is driving me mad... If I fill it up to the brim it reads empty then as I use the fuel it goes down on gauge but when get to a quarter and gauge it shame over empty! So it seams the reader it's reading a quarter of a tank out! Is there a fix for this or buy a tank of flea bay for 30 great British pounds

This has been covered on the forum before. Not sure where but I think it was the fuel sender/sensor in the tank. It's a drop the tank job though which is never nice.
