Wiper Motor help please.

Postby always1more » Fri Jan 11, 2013 4:20 pm

Hello peeps,

I bought the sealy wiper removal tool so I can take the wipers off and have a look at the motor as when it's on intermittent or the 1st setting the wipers like to park anywhere on the screen

2nd setting and 3rd setting is ok.

Now somebody told me on here to take a look at the switch inside the wiper motor, this is what I'm trying to do but now I've come to a stop because I'm not sure the best way to remove the motor from the tight space

I've removed the wipers and the trim but not there is the plastic piece that runs along the bulk head and I'm thinking the motor and linkage will not fit through here. Do I need to take all that trim off and undo the Brake Fluid resovoir or can this job be done just undoing the motor from the linkage and passing the motor through the gap between the bottom of the windscreen and bulkhead ?

Took some pictures. Found the filter on the passenger side over the fan looks like it's original so I'll get a new one whilst I got all the trim off :)

Please help, look forward on the best way to go now ;)
