Crank Shaft Sensor

Hi there,
I have a 2005 Connect that wont start ive been told that its the crankshaft sensor and wondered if someone could point me the right direction as to where that sensor is?
Also would this be stopping the fuel pump from work as im not getting any diesel to the injectors either?

Is it a tddi ot a tdci, have a look up where the long driveshaft goes into the gearbox, its just above there, you will see the connecter. Before changing anything its best to pay someone thats got a diag tool to plug in and look at the live data to see whats going on and where, why change things that may be ok

get the fault codes read, lots of sensors on modern engines and could be anything
