My bonnet wont open

Hi,

I bought a transit connect van this week, but cant for the life of me figure out how to open the bonnet!
its a 03 model, t200.
from looking at other sites it says that the key has to be used. there are 3 holes on the front of the gril but when i insert the key there, its doesnt really insert into anything.
the badge seems fairly stuck also so dont think its under there
any ideas?

under the ford badge on the grille there is a raised section with a hole in the middle where the key goes insert the key and turn it both ways

Not on an 03 model, badge will be on the bonnet. The opening is in the middle of the grille, slightly above centre. Turn one way to open, then the other to release the catch

As above, turn first all the way to the left, the bonnet will pop up on to the safety catch, and then turn the key over to the right, to fully release
Make sure the key is pushed all the way in, and use a spray lube if the lock is stiff

yeah i dunno. tried it there.
the key just doesnt seem to be catching in anything.

if you have a spare key try that one as the key your using maybe worn

sounds like the lock has been removed,try with a flat head screwdriver
