In my first post I was going off a text which my mate had obviously mistyped and me not knowing Fords much (yet) just went with it.

On the little badge on the drivers side it says T220L and its deffo a hi top. I must have seen dozens on the road today, all shapes and sizes and still cant tell the difference which is a swb or lwb. I guess when I pick it up on Saturday i'll know exactly what it is i hope!

What it the length difference? Surely it can't be much??

Ford badges seem to be stuck on at random. Mine says T230L but it's a T230LX.

All the brochures printed since 2002 say that SWB models are T200 and T220 - LWB are T210 and T230.

The LWB is 10" longer and 6" higher so should be distinguishable.

yep, just picked mine up, 29500 genuine miles! Its says T220L on the side but measured it against another and its a hi top LWB but when I got my insurance it comes up as swb!!
Logged onto ETIS and it comes up as "entended van" 80 series 75 psi. So remap might be in order soon.

Only got one key, its all central locking but wonder if it should have a key fob to pop the locks?

It seems to be a bit of a minefield compared the the VW vans I've owned but I'm sure I'll get to grips with it!

There lots on here about central locking. It may not have the remote system on it.. But to check turn the ignition on and off 8 times quickly; it will cycle the locks through locked and unlocked if there is a remote system present

Yes, tried the 8 times trick, it worked, guess i need to get a fob thing now and program it.
