Ford connect fascia to hold double din radio

Postby Dizzyd » Sat Feb 09, 2013 8:58 pm

Does anyone have a 2007 8 or 9 plastic Center fascia to hold a double din head unit, in good condition for sale?

I have a 2006 connect and want to put a screen in it, so need to update the unit that hold the heating switches, radio ect

I have searched EBay and found some breakers that ill call Monday, but as I found I need to change the fascia on here I thought I'd ask :)

Also I'm new to this forum, pics of my van will be added soon

Regards

Dan

they are only £37.00 new from ford dealers, you will also need a aftermarket facia panel as the standard hole/stereo is bigger than a double din.

You need to change the controls plus a bit of hacking, see here viewtopic.php?f=54&t=98332&p=835862#p835862

Anyone interested I have a new centre but needs painting plus the heater controls. Dont think I'll ever get around to fitting it plus I have a dab radio in mine and to replace that for DD is about £900.
