Put a block of wood and a jack under the exhaust to persuade it into place. I've done this many times, working on my own.

Good idea! I did notice on the part that the rubber had a small tear/gouge out of it but didn't see it being an issue and then it just ripped. Ill try the blocks of wood and soapy water trick tomorrow when I get another mount. Thanks for the tips guys

I got a replacement and got my misses to help lift the exhaust up as I twist and push and it worked! Problem solved. Thanks guys!
