Wheel arch retainers clips

Are the front retainers the same as the rear retainers ..minus the rubber seal

Zap ford site only has them as

i can see why the seal is needed on the rear ...as they holes are into an enclosed space

are the rubber seal ones just for the rear ......is it possible to fit them to the front with rubber seal ..or do i have to leave it off .

The ones in the ebay link above (I HOPE) are for the square holes -bottom of rear wheel arches part number 4174744 - called an expansion nut a self tapper screws into them.- MK1 transit connect - 1 each side.
