Ford Transit Connect 75T200 (MK1/2013) Christmas Tree!

Oh wisdoms and wise beholders! Can some one please share there vast knowledge on the following Wizardry/sorcery!

My vehicle has broken down with ABS warning light issues. Garage have reported ABS pump module failure. As advised they carried out inspection of the above vehicle, starting the engine from cold with no issues. However, the ABS and engine management lights remained illuminated.

They then undertook diagnostic testing and obtained the following results:

 U0121 – Lost communication with ABS control module
 C0031 – Left front wheel speed sensor
 C0037 – Left rear wheel speed sensor
 C003A – Right rear wheel speed sensor
 C1109 – Vehicle dynamics control switch
 U0100 – Lost communication with engine control module
 U0125 – Lost communication with multi access acceleration sensor module
 U0155 – Lost communication with instrument panel cluster
 U0401 – Invalid data received from electronic control module.

and so the fun begins... The garage had removed the ABS module to be reconditioned by ECU testing (It's since come to light it's already been there before due to the void stickers). So I contacted ECU testing who bench tested the ABS module with no faults however due to it being refurbished prevoiusly by the previous via ECU testing owner they reconditioned it anyways.

The garage re-installed the ABS module and yet "0121 – Lost communication with ABS control module". So I purchased a 2nd hand ~ABS module from the same make/model which was in working condition. The garage installed the ABS module and yet "0121 – Lost communication with ABS control module".

The dash lights up like a Christmas tree although everything works i.e. temp/fuel gauge/rev counter but the speedo doesn't?. (I did do the hard factory test to the cluster and all dials move left to right and all lights flash). However the ESP assist show failure and Hill start assist not available. The mileage (144,180) is stuck despite me driving 35 miles since.

The garage has now advised that it could be a electrical issues in the wiring harness. They don't specialise in this and now am left in the dark. (they said all fuses seem fine  ) Any help would be much appreciated pictures attached.

I am no expert by any means. You didn't mention anything about the ECU being tested, so immediate thoughts are either the ECU, or, as they say, a wiring harness failure. It is obvious a catastrophic failure of one of these two items. As the ABS module has been replaced and the same errors occur, it seems logical that the first point of call would be the ECU as everything is controlled by that. Failing that, a wiring harness issue. Sorry I can't give more helpful info, this is just my instant gut reaction.
All the best with this mate.

Thank you so much for all your support.

So long story short the connection block to the ABS module (female pins) were not making great connection with the (male pins) on the ABS module.

In return flagged up a few codes (can-bus) which is now all cleared up. Still working on a couple of ground to earth issues thankfully got my hands on a master tech.

Just a follow up van is working as it should ground issues were all checked to be okay. ABS module is now up and running 500 miles in no problems at all.

Once again thank you all for your kind support and help.
