09 Connect Sportvan Injector Replacement

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help me, as the title suggests I need to replace one of the fuel injectors in my transit Connect and was just wondering what the torque specs were for the injector clamp bolt.

The engine code is RWPA, as I understand because it is a 2009 van I don’t need to code the injector, but I just wanted to make sure that I torque the bolt down properly. I’ve read online that it should be 5nm and then 90 degrees and just wanted to make sure that is correct.

if a diesel lynx engine 1.8 tdci

Stage 1 - Tighten to 5 Nm
Stage 2 - Tighten by 90 degrees
