mk1 under tray

Postby Nicksun » Tue Mar 11, 2025 11:23 am

Hello. I'd like to put a tray under my engine(connect 2012 1.8tdci) so I can park on my drive and at customers properties without dripping and causing a mess. It doesn't currently leak but I've had a few and know that it comes to them all eventually!
There's been some mentions of it on here but not conclusive answers.
So,
Has anybody done this?
Did you use a mk1 focus tray?
Was there much fettling to do?

Thanks in advance.
Nick.

No. I'm hopefully going to fix the oil leak so won't need one, fingers crossed.
I'm still surprised that nobody has fitted one. I'm sure the focus mk1 will fit, possibly with a bit of fettling, I might try it if the sump gasket doesn't do the job.
